Quick start: Execute your first command in 2 minutes
If you are managing a fleet of 50-100 server nodes and still manually SSHing to check logs or restart services, you’re making things harder than they need to be. Instead of repeatedly typing ssh user@ip, I choose Python and Paramiko. This is the standard library that allows you to interact with the SSH2 protocol programmatically.

Controlling Data Streams (stdin, stdout, stderr)
The exec_command() function returns three objects similar to standard files in Linux. Keep in mind:
- stdout: Contains the output of a successful command.
- stderr: Contains error messages (e.g., mistyped commands).
- .read().decode(): Always remember to decode Bytes to a String to make text data processing easier.
File Transfer via SFTP
Pushing an nginx.conf configuration file or pulling a 2GB log file to your local machine becomes extremely simple with the built-in SFTP client:
